Residential Locksmiths
House locks are simple until they aren't: a lost key, a move, a break-in, a lock that sticks every winter. We fix the problem in front of us and tell you honestly whether the cheap fix or the upgrade is the right call.

The reviews keep saying the same thing: honest calls, even when it costs us the job.
- If a rekey beats a replacement, that's what we'll quote
- If the shop visit saves you a call-out, we'll suggest it
- If your existing hardware is fine, nobody will upsell you
- Window locks, garage locks and the small stuff handled too

“Instead of charging me a call out fee, they suggested I come into the shop... Their advice saved me time, money and a lot of stress. I'm really grateful for their honesty...”
House lock playing up, or keys you don't trust?
Call and describe it. Small jobs get sorted at the counter, bigger ones get the van.

Common questions
Should I rekey or replace my locks after moving house?
Rekey, in most cases. If the locks are decent, rekeying makes every old key useless for a fraction of a full replacement. Replace when the hardware is worn or you want an upgrade anyway.
How much does a residential locksmith cost in Brisbane?
Depends on the job and whether the van comes to you. Walking into the Brendale shop with a lock or key is the cheapest path. For scale, from a public review: a $15 key cut that was quoted $40 elsewhere. You get a straight quote before work starts.
Someone has a key I don't trust. What's the quickest fix?
Rekeying. The lock stays, the pins change, and every existing key stops working. Bring the lock to the shop or have the van out, and cut only the new keys you actually want in circulation.
Do you install locks I've bought myself?
Yes, if they're right for the door. If a lock you've bought won't do the job, we'll tell you before it goes in, not after.
